The production this year is based on the beautiful Russian folklore story of Cvetik-Semicvetik, or ‘the flower with seven colours’ by Valentin Petrovich Katayev, in which each of these seven petals represents a wish.

The show features the lovable buffoons, Professor Wacko and his energetic sidekick, Natalia Mezentceva. The audience is invited to their enchanted garden, where it is said “dreams come true”. You will see impressive feats and daring performances, including back flipping, juggling, wire walking, and roller-skating experts.

This is a contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic fable of love and magic, a show presented by the senior company of The Hawth Youth Theatre.

‘”The course of true love never did run smooth”, and when transported into this magical realm of the fairies, you will see character`s stories intertwine and tangle, and comical chaos reign supreme.
